Lou, our resident sow, became the proud mother to 14 piglets on 26 March.  Mother and piglets are doing well.

Annual Tasting

We are excited about the forthcoming asparagus season, and plan for the annual Tasting to take place on Friday 15 and Saturday 16 May …. Dates for the diary!

 

Beat the crunch!

We are continuing our popular “beat the crunch” offers on our home-reared mince and stewing steak, so stock up the freezer!  Mince - £7.50 for 5lb and Stewing Steak £12 for 5lb

Our 40 food mile Sunday Roast, started to celebrate British Food Fortnight last autumn, is proving popular: £7.95 for two courses, promoting our own and local produce!

Beef - The beef that we have on sale is our own, home-reared at Hungersheath beef, cut and prepared by our experienced butcher.

Lamb - Our lamb mainly supplied by the two Steves, one a neighbour and the other a friend. Both supply lamb of the highest quality, fattened in a sensitive and sustainable way.

Pork & Chicken - Supplied to us from selected producers with a track record for quality time after time, Pork reared outdoors to bring a superior taste and chicken reared free range and healthy.

         
Dairy Products
Dairy

We sell 20+ different cheese 90% british, 6-8 being produced from within the 10 miles of the farm.

We also have a supply of fresh milk and butter from a local farm

Vegetables
Veg Most of our vegetables are either home grown or supplied by local farmers and friends.
