Last day for picking strawberries (boooo…!)

Posted in General

We are now picking off our last patch of strawberries for the season – a late variety called Malwina – that has cropped some wonderfully sweet and tasty strawbs.  Sadly though, we think that today will be the last day to find strawberries on this patch, having been busy since the schools broke up.

HOWEVER…..we do still have LOTS of big, juicy, gorgeous raspberries and currants still in abundance!  So not all bad news!!!!

Still plenty of gorgeous fruit

The sun is still shining!!!  We still have plenty of strawberries, raspberries and currants for you to pick, so make the most of the sunshine and enjoy the fruits of the sesason!

Last chance for asparagus

Posted in General

The asparagus season has nearly finished – we may have a small pick tomorrow and then…..when it is gone…it’s gone!  So grab a bundle if you can!  On the plus side, the strawberries are about ready in the pick your own field.  We also have gooseberries ready now.
