As the festive season is approaching, we are putting on our annual Christmas Tasting this Saturday, 11 – 3.  Lots of festive goodies will be available to taste and our popular Hungersheath hampers will be available to view.  The Tea Room will be offering a mince pie with every purchase of tea or coffee, and Terry will be taking Christmas orders.  Any turkey orders taken on the day will have a free 1lb locally made pork pie.  As you know, our turkeys are of excellent quality, reared locally and competitively priced at £3.40/lb.  Don’t miss out!

As you know, Terry makes his own sausage, in a variety of very popular flavours: traditional, pork & leek, pork & apple, tomato, Cumberland and cracked pepper are the regulars.  This week-end we are offering a 10% discount on his range of sausage and some will be available to taste in the Butchery, so don’t forget your bangers for Bonfire Night!

As it’s National Apple Day this Friday, and as our last tasting event was so popular, we thought that we would offer another one this Saturday!

On offer will be “all things apple”: local apple juice, four different ciders, our own pork and apple sausage, apple chutneys, Scrumpy cheese and local apple pie .  There may even be apple bobbing for the brave!  All are welcome – the tasting will run from 11 – 3.
