Our summer season is a busy time, with the arrival of the first shoots of asparagus in May through to the main strawberry picking season in June.
We have 3 acres of “pick your own” and grow rhubarb, strawberries, gooseberries, red and blackcurrants and raspberries, plus peas, beans, onions and beetroot. Our latest crop is blueberries – available ready-picked from the end of July until September.
There is nothing better than picking a basket of your own fruit and then devouring a Snugbury’s ice-cream from the farm shop to reward your efforts!
