This year, we are celebrating the fact that it is 25 years since Nick planted his first asparagus plants!  We are doing various things to celebrate, and the first is on this Friday, 27th.   Nick is going to lead informal asparagus walks and talks, starting from 10.30, when it will be possible to follow the journey of this special hand-picked veg from the field to the farm shop.  He will also share the behind the scenes history of it at Hungersheath.  There will also be a special Asparagus menu in the Tea Room to enjoy on the day.  Hungersheath strawberries and cream will also be on the menu for pudd!
