A big thank you to all who came along and enjoyed our British Food Fortnight celebrations.  The Tasting was, as ever, very well received by all.  It always makes us proud to “fly the flag” for not just Great British produce, but also for the great products that are made in our own area, and the local cheeses, apple chutneys, local bread and home-made jams were all very popular.  A huge thank you to Paul, who cooks Terry’s own made burgers and sausage so well, and of course to Tim Dobson, who had a very good response to his goat steaks, burgers and sausage.  Many of our customers had not tried goat and kid meat before and were greatly impressed.  We now have another date in the diary for our next Tasting event….details to follow!
